 Balochistan: Two previously abducted men released, another four abducted

QUETTA/KARACHI: Karachi University student, Sagheer Baloch, has been released on Monday and reached home safely. Sagheer was abducted on 20 November 2017 by plain-clothed officials from University canteen.

Sagheer is the student of political science at Karachi University but he originally hails from Awaran district of Balochistan.

Hameeda Baloch sister of Sagheer has been struggling for the release of her brother since his abduction and disappearance.

Meanwhile, the sister of abducted 14-year-old Asim Ameen has congratulated Sagheer Baloch’s sister and other family members. She said, ‘We understand their pain because we are still going through the same pain. Asim Ameen is still missing.’

On Sunday, June 1, Unknown armed men have a man from Tijaban, Singabad area of district Kech Balochistan.

The victim has been named as Mehrab son of Abbas resident of Tijaban.

According to local sources, the victim was going from Singabad to Gwarkob when armed men have abducted him.

In another incident, the Pakistani security forces have abducted three persons from Tump and Gebun areas of district Kech Balochistan.

According to details Pakistani forces raided houses in Koshkalat region of Tump and abducted Mama Bahad son of Mohammad Bakhsh and Khalil son of Rasool Bakhsh.

In another raid, the Pakistan forces abducted Manzoor son of Imam Bakhsh from Gebun in Kech.

Sources reported that Pakistani forces harassed and beaten up women and children during their offensives.

Meanwhile, previously abducted Sohail Qambarani has been released from the custody of Pakistani forces and reached home on Saturday.

Sohail’s family sources said that he was abducted on 23 June 2018 from Kharan city.

It is important to another Baloch youth Mohammad Kazzafi was also abducted during the same operation whose whereabouts still remain unknown.
