 Balochistan: Two residents of Saravan transferred to Zahedan prison, two quarantined for execution

Zahedan: Two residents of Saravan city of Iranian occupied Balochistan have been transferred to Ward 1 of Zahedan Central Prison on Wednesday the 5th of September.

The detainees were identified as Najib Dehvari, 21, and Abdul Shakur Sotoudeh, 22 who were previously arrested by security forces and transferred to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Detention Center.

The HRANA news reported, “Both were arrested and interrogated on charges of ‘Acting against National Security’ in connection with a sound bomb that went off in front of Saravan’s Intelligence Ministry last month, which incurred no casualties.”

Meanwhile, another prisoner on death row has been transferred to the Isolation cell for execution. The victim has been named as Mehdi Sarani, 37, from Zabol.

Separately, on Thursday 6th of September, the authorities in Iran quarantined another prisoner named Rasheed Sondaqzahi.

Mr Sondaqzahi has already served six years of imprisonment in Ward 4 in Zahedan central prison.

Sources reported that the execution of Mr Sarani and Sondaqzahi are imminent which mean they can be executed any time.
