Balochistan: Another Baloch fighter killed in battle against Pakistani forces
QUETTA: A Baloch fighter of an armed organisation has been killed during his struggle trying to break the siege of Pakistan army on Sunday in the district Awaran, Balochistan.
According to details, on Friday Pakistan forces had attacked a patrolling team of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) in which three of their fighters were killed and others escaped unhurt.
However, on Sunday the BLF spokesperson in a statement that one of their Deputy Unit Commander Mohim Khan Baloch was killed during his effort to break the siege of Pakistan army.
He said that after Friday’s confrontation the Pakistani army surrounded the entire area and it was difficult for Mohim Khan to escape safely so he decided to fight his way out but embraced ‘martyrdom’ during the battle.
BLF spokesperson, Gwahram Baloch, said the deceased Mohim Khan was a resident of Jhao area of district Awaran Balochistan and had been affiliated with the organisation since 2013.
Meanwhile, Pakistan army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release on Sunday said that a 24-year-old Pakistani soldier Ramz Ali was killed in a battle against Baloch fighters in Awaran.
The Pakistani soldier belonged to Khairpur Miras area of Sindh.
Earlier, however, the BLF claimed that a number of Pakistani soldiers were killed and wounded on Friday’s ‘face-to-face confrontation’ in Waadi area of Jhao in Awaran.
