Balochistan: Seven people abducted from Kech and Dera Bugti
QUETTA: Pakistani security forces have carried out offensives in Balochistan’s Dera Bugti and Kech districts on Monday, September 17, and abducted at least seven persons.
According to detail, Pakistani security forces have conducted raids in Dasht Sholeeg area in Kech Balochistan and abducted at least four people.
Locals complained that the Pakistani forces have harassed women and children during their offensive operation.
The victims have been named as Akhtar son of Haji Murad Mohammad, Zahid son of Allah Bakhsh, Allah Bakhsh son of Haji Nabi Bakhsh and Yasin son of Haji Nabi Bakhsh.
Meanwhile, in another offensive, Pakistan forces abducted Waheed son of Abdul Rasool resident of Dash Hur in district Kech Balochistan.
In a separate but similar offensive, Pakistani forces have torched several of houses in Sui’s Drenjan and surrounding areas in district Dera Bugti Balochistan.
The Pakistani forces have arrested and disappeared two Baloch shepherds during the gory operation in Drenjan and shifted them to an undisclosed location.
The victims’ identity could not be ascertained until at the time of filing this report.
It is pertinent to mention that enforced-disappearances in Balochistan have escalated lately despite the government’s claim to releasing previously abducted persons.
The Baloch human rights organisation and pro-freedom political activists term the government claims as ‘propaganda’ to mislead international community about ongoing enforced-disappearances in Balochistan.
