Pakistan Military Offensives: Punjabi Army Will Not Succeed in Balochistan
Balochistan: Pakistani forces abducted 12 people from three districts in past two days
QUETTA: Pakistani FC, military and other security forces have forcibly disappeared at least 12 people from Balochistan’s Dera Bugti, Gwadar and Khuzdar districts in past two days.
Pakistani Para-military forces and intelligence agencies have conducted offensives in Balochistan’s coastal town Gwadar on Thursday and abducted at least three persons.
According to details Pakistani forces raided a hotel in Dobeesth-o-Panjah area Gwadar and abducted three men named Lal Mohammad son of Ghulam Mohammad, Hafeez son of Rasheed and Jahangir son of Hatim.
The latest victims of enforced-disappearances are resident of Dasht Sorok area of Gwadar.
Sources informed Balochwarna News that the trio were labourers who had come to the port city of Gwadar in search of work. Lal Mohammad and Jahangir worked at a hotel whereas Hafeez worked at a Barber’s.
In a separate incident, Pakistani forces have abducted a Baloch youth during a raid from district Khuzdar’s Naal region on Wednesday, September 19.
Sources reported that Pakistan forces raided a house in Gresha area of Naal in Khuzdar Balochistan and involuntarily disappeared a Baloch youth named Tahir son of Bahot Baloch.
According to locals, the aged mother of the abducted Baloch youth tried to resist her son’s abduction but Pakistan forces have indiscriminately tortured her and broke her one foot.
The victim named aa Bibi Jamaeti wife of Bahot (Tahir’s mother) lost her consciousness due to Pakistani forces brutal torture and abduction of her son.
Also on Wednesday 19 September, Pakistani forces carried out further offensives in Balochistan’s Dera Bugti district and abducted at least eight people.
The affected areas included Sui’s Shari Darbar, Dranjain, Badrang Tal and Gazai where Pakistan forces have been conducting offensive since past three consecutive days.
The Pakistan ground troops are aided by gunship helicopters in Dera Bugti’s aggression where sources reported that at least one shepherd was wounded during shelling by gunship helicopters in Dranjain area. The forces have arrested and taken away the injured shepherd.
At least eight people have also been abducted and taken to undisclosed locations during Dera Bugti offensives. The abductees have been named as Ganjo son Khair Mohammad Bugti, Jamal Bugti, Saad Khan Bugti, Popal Bugti, Lahnda Bugti, Ganj Ali Bugti and Gulla Bugti.
All the abducted men were farmers and nomads whose financial survivals depend on husbandry and tending livestock.
The victims belong to Bugti’s Chakarani and Marhata branch. Pakistani forces have also set several huts on fire during these latest acts of unprovoked violence.
