Balochistan: 14 whisked away Enforced-disappearances continue unabated
QUETTA: Pakistani FC, Intelligence agencies and other security forces have abducted at least fourteen people from different areas of district Kech Balochistan in the past few days. Two previously abducted Baloch have been released.
Pakistan FC and intelligence agencies have carried out offensives in two different regions of district Kech Balochistan on Monday 1 October 2018 and abducted at least 11 people.
According to details, Pakistani forces conducted raids in Solo region of Buleda around 6 am in the morning and started a house-to-house search.
Four persons including two brothers have been abducted during these offensives. The detainees have been named as Akhtar son of Mohammad Azim, Akbar son of Mohammad Azim, Zubair son of Juma and Yasir son of Jalil, residents of Solo.
In another raid Pakistani intelligence agencies and FC abducted 10-year-old Amjad son of Saleem, 13-year-old Jameel son of Dad Mohammad, 20-year-old Nawaz son of Ghulam Jan, Abdullah son of Saeed, Mohammed son of Lal Mohammad, Maula Bakhsh son of Ismael, Abdul Khalid son of Mohammad and Mohammad Umar son of Abdul Rehman from Menaz Dan area of Buleda in district Kech Balochistan.
Also, on Monday, October 1st 2018, in a separate incident, Pakistani security forces have conducted raids in Balnegwar region of Dardez in district Kech Balochistan and abducted a Baloch youth.
The victim has been named as Shehak son of Allah Bakhsh resident of Balnegwar’s Machi village in Dasht.
According to local sources, Shehak returned to his home from Gwadar two days prior to his arrest and subsequent disappearance.
Another Baloch youth was abducted from his house in district Kech only three days after his marriage on 29 September 2018.
The abducted youth has been identified as Shehzad son of Irshad resident of Menaz in Buleda Balochistan.
Previously also Pakistani forces have raided wedding ceremonies and abducted several people including grooms.
Meanwhile, two previously abducted Baloch have been released from Pakistani forces custody and returned to their homes.
Sources reported that one of the freed men has been named as Jabir son of Rasheed resident of Balnegwar who was abducted on 12 April 2018 from Jan Mohammad Bazar in Dasht Balochistan. However, the whereabouts of Shaho son of Saed Mohammad, who was also abducted with Jabir, remain unknown.
Another man Rashid son of Khuda Bakhsh abducted on 4 July 2018 has also been released and returned to his home on Monday.
