It is pertinent to mention that Pakistani forces have started enforced-disappearances in Balochistan in the year 2000 when the latest ongoing phase of Baloch liberation movement started.
since 2009 onward the Pakistani intelligence agencies and military agencies have started the notorious ‘kill and dump’ policy in Balochistan under which they tortured to death the enforced-disappeared Baloch activists and threw their dead bodies in different town, cities and rural areas of Balochistan.
Baloch rights groups say that currently there are more than 20,000 people including women and children in the custody of Pakistani forces.
The international humanitarian organisation including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and Asian Human Rights Commission have also strongly criticised Pakistan for committing human rights violations in Balochistan.
