Afghan-Baloch Unity can stop Pakistan and Iran’s infiltration in Afghanistan: Hyrbyair Marri
LONDON: Baloch pro-freedom leader and head of Free Balochistan Movement in a statement on Saturday said that the latest wave of violent attacks by Taliban (Pakistan’s strategic assets) in Afghanistan and murder of Abdul Jabbar Qahraman and General Abdul Razik Achakzai shows that Pakistan will continue its horrible crimes against the Afghan nation.
Mr Marri added, ‘we have been saying time again that the Afghan government and its Western allies should support Baloch freedom struggle for long-lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan and to counter Pakistan’s religious proxies in the region.’
He said that the late Afghan politician and election candidate General Abdul Jabbar Qahraman had rightly said that Afghanistan ‘Hypocrite neighbours’ Iran and Pakistan – were involved in destabilisation of Afghanistan. He also alleged that the two fanatic countries are supporting, training, financing and facilitating the Taliban terrorists who carry out deadly attacks in Afghanistan.
Hence, he said, ‘it is important to destroy their safe sanctuaries and contain their facilitators, supporters and promoters. Pakistan and Iran’s religious proxies have killed about 10 election candidates so far which proves that ‘Hypocrite neighbours’ want to derail the peace process and democracy in Afghanistan. Iran and Pakistan are afraid of a developed, prosperous and democratic Afghan nation because such an Afghanistan will be the death of their proxy wars.’
Empathising on Afghan-Baloch Unity Mr Marri said that the Afghan-Baloch unity and friendship is another factor that both nations should give serious thoughts to it and sign treaties of non-confrontation among themselves.
‘Both nations should pledge to first get rid of Pakistan’s Punjabi hegemony over Afghanistan and Balochistan and then resolve their pending issues by peaceful negotiation. The Afghan-Baloch friendship can become a strong hurdle to stop Pakistan and Iran’s infiltration in Afghanistan and play a key role in regional and world peace,’ he added.
