Balochistan: Three FWO vehicle set on fire on CPEC route
QUETTA: Armed Baloch fighters have set three vehicles of Frontier Works Organisation on fire in Turbat area of Balochistan’s district Kech Monday.
According to details, armed men intercepted and set on fire three vehicles on Pakistan military’s FWO in Aazyan region of Tump in Turbat Balochistan.
The attackers fled from the scene after pouring petrol on vehicles and setting them ablaze.
The FWO that carries out most of the road work on CPEC route was working on Kech to Radeeg link Road.
Meanwhile, the Baloch Republican Army (BRA) accepted responsibility for the attack.
The BRA’s spokesperson Sarbaaz Baloch said, ‘Our friends have set the trucks on fire but spared the drivers on humanitarian grounds after warning them.’
He urged the local contractors and drivers not to be part of state-initiated projects that are against ‘Baloch nation interests’ otherwise in future action they will not be spared.
Sarbaz Baloch said BRA’s such attacks will continue till freedom of Balochistan.
