Balochistan: Mother and daughter wounded in Quetta acid attack

QUETTA: Unidentified armed men splashed acid on mother and daughter in Quetta’s Railway Housing Society on Friday evening.

According to Police, Farzana Bibi and her daughter Kiran were on their way back to home when unknown persons riding on motorbike thrown acid on them and fled after committing the heinous crime.

As a result of the attack, Farzana and Kiran received severe burn wounds and shifted to Bolan Medical Complex (BMC) Hospital’s burn ward.

“I went out to bring my daughter Kiran from tuition, when we were heading back to our residence, two men standing at the corner of street splashed acid on us.” Farzana Bibi said in her police statement.

Farzana who is struggling to feed her children with working as a servant in her area said, ‘we don’t have any personal or domestic enmity with anyone.’

Police have lodged the FIR against unidentified persons and commenced investigations.
