Balochistan: Jaish Al Adl appeals to International bodies for negotiations with Iran
ZAHEDAN: The Sunni Baloch armed group Jaish al Adl (Army of justice) in a statement to the media on Saturday said that the 12 abducted Iranian guards are safe and in good health.
The statement of Jaish al Adl added, ‘the abducted officials are being treated according to Islamic and international laws in all possible ways.’
The Jaish had abducted 12 Iranian elite forces and border security guards on 16 October near Mirjavah’s Lulakdan region.
In their latest statement, the Baloch militant group has appeal all the International Human Rights Organisations and the International Red Cross to mediate between Jaish and Iranian regime for the fulfilment of their demands.
The Jaish Al Adl has presented the following demands:
- Release all Baloch political prisoners
- Release all Sunni political prisoners held in Rajai Shahr (Gohardash prison).
- Release all political prisoners of different nationalities in the country (Iran)
- Release all women political prisoners
- Stop threatening and attacking the seminaries and Masjid (Mosques) of Sunnis in Iran
- Stop killing innocent Baloch under the pretext of smuggling and other petty allegations
The Jaish emphasised in their statement that the exchange of prisoners should take place through an independent third party negotiator.
