Balochistan: Seminar Held at Awaran Sit-In Camp Against Enforced Disappearances
Free Balochistan Movement to organise protests, campaigns on International Human Rights Day
LONDON: The Free Balochistan Movement has announced to hold protests and awareness campaigns on 10 December ‘International Human Rights Day’ in Europe and other countries across the globe.
The aim of the protests and awareness campaign, according to the FBM press statement, is to expose Pakistan’s war crimes in Balochistan including enforced-disappearances, the discovery of mutilated dead bodies and other human rights violations.
The FBM said that the issue of enforced-disappearances ‘missing persons’ is of grave concern and a serious issue. ‘At present Baloch mothers, sisters along with children are sitting on token hunger strike protest. The uncivilised Pakistani state doesn’t give any importance and priority to such pressing issues without the intervention of the international community.
‘The Free Balochistan Movement will present reports to International media houses and will inform the civilised world about Pakistan’s worst crimes in Balochistan.’
The Free Balochistan Movement in its announcement said that Pakistani and Iranian states are committing gross human rights violations against the Baloch nation.
‘The FBM will galvanise the Baloch nation and contact international institutions to promote the Baloch struggle for freedom and to expose Iran and Pakistan’s war crimes in occupied Balochistan.’
