Balochistan: Pakistan Military Collaborator’s Hideout Attacked in Kharan
Balochistan: Aged Baloch man killed in custody, his body found in Hub
QUETTA: The dead body of a previously abducted elderly man was found in Balochistan’s industrial town of Hub Chowki on Friday night.
According to details, the Pakistani forces brought the dead body of 70-year-old Elahi Bakhsh son of Peer Jan resident of Jhau Doleji town of Awaran district to a hospital in Hub town of Balochistan.
The victim was abducted on 7, May 2016 during a raid on his houses in his hometown.
He remained in the illegal custody of Pakistani security forces for two years and eight months until Friday night 3rd January 2019.
The discovery of the dead body of Elahi Bakhsh had exhausted the agonising wait of at least one family but there are thousands of families in Balochistan who are still waiting for their loved ones.
A Pakistani minister Ziaullah Langove last week had promised to recover the abducted Baloch in next three months.
However, the recovery of Mr Bakhsh’s dead body contradicts his claims and confirms the concerns the families of enforced-disappeared Baloch activists.
Meanwhile, in Quetta, the token hunger strike of families of Baloch missing persons entered its 3451 days. The families have intensified their protest from the platform of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons.
Members of civil society from Balochistan and several political activists have visited the protest camp to expressed their support to the struggle of families of abducted Baloch.
