Balochistan: Military aggression in Kohlu kill livestock of Baloch nomads
QUETTA: Pakistani military has started fresh military offensives in different areas of district Kohlu in Kohistan Marri region on Monday.
According to details, large scale offensives were carried out in Nisao, Soren Kaor, Arandani, Baryli and Sakeen areas of Kohlu Balochistan in the early hours of Monday.
Sources informed Balochwarna News that ground troops were backed by gunship helicopters that have bombed several areas raising fear of casualties and damage to properties.
However, no casualties were reported at the time of filing this report.
Pakistani military laid a siege around one household in Nisao area where the inhabitants including women and children were taken hostage by the armed forces of Pakistan.
No one was allowed to enter or leave that particular house and due to lack of communication facilities, there have been no further reports of arrests or any casualties otherwise.
The Pakistani forces also set on fire the huts of Baloch nomads forcing the residents to migrate to other regions.
Many livestock has been killed due to indiscriminate bombing and Pakistan army have also reportedly stolen the remaining livestock of the people living in mountainous regions.
The military was still present in the region all exit and entrance route to the affected areas have been blocked.
