Balochistan: Pakistan forces abducted 11 persons in two days
QUETTA: The Pakistan FC and intelligence have carried three different raids in Balochistan’s Gwadar, Kech and Khuzdar district and abducted eleven people collectively on Friday and Saturday.
According to details, Pakistani forces raided a house on Saturday night in Nizar Abad area of Tump in Kech district and abducted a 17-year-old boy named as Jaffar son of Abdul Rasool.
Earlier on Friday, intelligence agencies and Frontier Corps have carried out offensives in district Khuzdar’s Greshag area and Naya Abad region in District Gwadar, Balochistan.
In Khuzdar aggression Pakistani forces abducted six people namely Ahmad Jan son of Zehri Khan, Wahid son of Zehri Khan, Ayyaz son of Faiz, Barkat son of Faiz, Khalid son of Mullah Hassan and Abdul Wahid.
Separately, Pakistani forces carried out an offensive operation in Naya Abad Gwadar and abducted four persons.
The abductees were identified as Waju son of Sawali resident of Zarren Bug, Ibrahim son Washdil a resident of Dasht Sohi, and Altaf and Ensaf Baloch residents of Gwadar city.
On 13 January Pakistani forces abducted a Baloch teacher from Hoshab area of Turbat while he was on his way to Balgetar his professional duty.
The victim has been named as Sagheer Sajan son of Mohammad Murad resident Hoshab Grade Bazar in Kech, Balochistan.
The families of above-mentioned abducted persons have expressed concerns about safety and well-being of their loved ones and demand of the authorities to produce them to a court of law if they are involved in any unlawful activity.
It is pertinent to mention that Balochistan CM Jamal Kamal Khan and Balochistan provincial interior Minister Ziaullah Langov in presence of media and representatives of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons have admitted that abducted person ‘also commonly known as missing persons’ are in the custody of Pakistani security forces.
They have asked for two months time for the release of enforced-disappeared persons and in return requested the VBMP to close down their protest camp in Quetta.
Some reports initially claimed that VBMP leaders have agreed to shut down the camp but the following morning families of abducted Baloch resumed their protest.
Meanwhile, Baloch activists on social media have been urging the President of United Nations General Assembly to visit the missing persons camp in Quetta and hear the plea of the families of disappeared Baloch.
The Free Balochistan Movement has announced the four-day campaign on social media using hashtag #UNVisitBalochistan in an effort to draw UN’s attention to the plight of Baloch nation and protest of Baloch missing persons families.
