FBM signature campaign kicks off in Germany
BIELEFELD: The Free Balochistan Movement has formally started its signature campaign on January 31 from Germany’s province of North Westphalia in University of Bielefeld. The student of University and hundreds of other people have taken keen interest and supported the campaign by signing the FBM petition title “Balochistan not Pakistan or Iran”.
Signatories have expressed concern and anger over illegal occupation of Balochistan by Pakistan and Iran, enforced disappearances, recovery of mutilated dead bodies, and discovery of mass graves, mass executions and other human rights violations as well as the loot and plunder of natural resources of Balochistan.
Free Balochistan Movement activists’ informed German Public that we [Baloch] are facing an enemy where democracy and freedom of expression are a crime and the punishment for such crimes is enforced disappearance and in-custody killing by forces of the deep states. “One cannot even imagine crimes in the civilised world.”
FBM Germany Branch Organiser Mr Elahi Bakhsh Baloch has informed the students that there was a complete media blackout in Balochistan, due to which the original narrative and ground realities of Balochistan have not reached the other nations of the world.
“Through this petition, we’re trying to inform the Germany government and the common public of Germany about the ground realities in Balochistan and the injustices that Balochistan’s has suffered since its occupation,” Elahi Bakhsh Baloch said.
It is pertinent to mention that the signature campaign was held at the University of Bielefeld for two days where BSO-Azad’s Germany zone president Mr Shar Hassan Baloch also participated and supported the FBM campaign.
The FBM activists said that in the next phase, the campaign will be held in another major city in North Westphalia, and with this continuous extension, it will be expanded to other German provinces throughout Germany. The duration of the entire campaign will be three to four months.
This petition has also been posted online and FBM has requested Baloch nation and the supporters of Balochistan freedom struggle to sign the petition to stand with Baloch people in their demand for an independent homeland.
