Changing natures of Wars

Today the natures of wars have changed altogether, hybrids wars replaced conventional warfare. If India wants to defeat Pakistan, it should avoid surgical strikes, instead, it should take only a long term policy of Balkanization of Pakistan, for that it should diplomatically support genuine Baloch independence movement and become the voice of Baloch internationally and exploit Pakistan’s weaknesses as Pakistan is exploiting Indian’s weaknesses. India has the best opportunity to start the groundwork for the balkanization of Pakistan, because, as we know the USA wants to isolate Pakistan in order to counter China.

Even, the USA was planning to declare Pakistan a terrorist-sponsoring country, but the India-China Wuhan conference changed America’s plan and somewhat might have even antagonised the USA because China and Pakistan deceived India in the name of negotiations. In Wuhan Conference which took place in 2017, it is widely believed that China might have told India to negotiate with Pakistan and settle their problems.

But Baloch leadership knew at that time that on the one hand, Pakistan would engage India in negotiations in order to buy time to create mistrust between USA and India, on the other hand, Pakistan was also attempting to keep the USA away from South Asia and the Far East, because in Far East India and Japan could be natural allies of USA. Moreover, Pakistan China and turkey in the long term could also be partners in the region; therefore, India should not let Pakistan and other countries to create mistrust between USA and India.

Pakistan is damaged economically if a conventional war erupts between them that would not go in Indian’s interest and a strong Pakistan is also not in the interest of Afghanistan, India, Balochistan and even the USA. So, India needs to isolate Pakistan internationally and like Yugoslavia and push Pakistan towards balkanization.

Everyone knows that Balochistan is Achilles heel of Pakistan even if India does thousands surgical strikes inside Pakistani occupied Kashmir, that can’t hurt Pakistan. Only sincere efforts of India highlighting the Baloch issue at international level bears fruits just like Pakistan projecting Kashmir issue can incapacitate Pakistan. India doesn’t need to shy away from highlighting Balochistan issue because as neighbouring countries, democratic powers and regional stakeholders Afghanistan, Bangladesh and India have moral responsibilities to support Baloch struggle and speak of Pakistani state terrorism against Baloch people and others.

Pakistan started sending terrorists to Indian Kashmir from 1987 to 2000, and it created the gigantic problems for India but when Baloch leader Hyrbyair Marri started Baloch liberation movement in 1996 that took practical shape in 2000, from that time till 2017 when the Baloch liberation movement was strong,  Pakistan was engaged in a bloody war against Baloch people and had stopped sending terrorists to India and from that time Kashmir movement went into obscurity, even Kashmiri leader Geelani advised Pakistani dictator Musharraf to settle Balochistan issue otherwise it could overshadow Kashmir issue at a time Musharraf was fighting with Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti in Balochistan.

So Baloch movement played deterrence for India, but it lost that deterrence at Wuhan conference with China where China tactically isolated India from all of its regional allies and as a result China managed a meeting between Pakistan and India which emboldened Pakistan and it started reorganizing Kashmir and Khalistan movements.

Still not late, If India wants a long term solution of terrorism and Kashmir problems, it should focus on the project of Cannibalization of Pakistan because it gets to ride all the regions from the menace and hazard of Pakistani terrorism.

In short, the long term policy to support the Baloch freedom struggle and establishment of an independent Balochistan is in the interest of regional peace and stability and to counter Pakistan’s international blackmailing tactics, and to keep China away from the geographically important location – Balochistan.
