Balochistan: Four Baloch Citizens, Including a Woman, Arrested in Iranian Military Raid in Taftan
FBM leader welcomes US designation of Iran’s IRGC as terrorist organisation
LONDON: Baloch national leader and head of the Free Balochistan Movement, Hyrbyair Marri has welcomed the US president Donald Trump’s move to declare Iran Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation. He said that Mr Trump exactly called ‘a spade a spade’. The worldwide terrorism of IRGC is not hidden from anyone.
He said, “the terrorist IRGC has been assigned to bring demographic and political changes in Balochistan in order to suppress the Baloch voices for freedom. In the past few decades, the Sepah (Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps) has hatched many conspiracies against Baloch people and Balochistan.
“They have deliberately moved non-Baloch people to Baloch populated areas in their design to change the demography of Balochistan and to practically implement their evil intention of dividing Balochistan and eventually erase Balochistan’s name. The IRGC has made plans to settle 30 million non-Baloch in the coastal belt (coast of Makuran) Balochistan as part of their plan to make the Baloch a minority in their own homeland.
“According to rough estimates, the Iranian regime has executed around 1,000 Baloch under different pretexts and target killed and wounded another 4,000 innocent Baloch many of whom were the only bread earner of their families. The regime forces have also killed several Baloch scholars for the sole reason of being Sunni Muslims and Baloch.
“Currently, there are hundreds of Baloch in Iranian prisons in different areas waiting to be executed and many of the Baloch prisoners have died because of lack of medical attention and other basic facilities. The prisoners also include Baloch women.
“The IRGC and its affiliated units have given freehand to state-sponsored land mafia groups and criminals to make life difficult for a Baloch resident of coastal belt and to force them to migrate from those regions. Iran has also stationed thousands of its troops and undercover agents in Balochistan port city of Chabahar in the name of protecting the port. The real intention of the regime, however, is to take control of the Chabahar port and expel the Baloch people from their homes.
“In the remote area of occupied Balochistan including Bashgard, Minab, Jask, Manu Jan, Jalga and Anbarabad the IRGC and its other units including Lashkar-e-Sabreen has accelerated their brutalities against Baloch residents. It’s part of IRGC’s project against Baloch to expel them from the coastal belt and strengthen its grip over these regions by ethnic flooding Baloch areas with non-Baloch. Part of the conspiracy is also to forcibly evict the local population and occupy their ancestral lands.
“The regime has also deliberately closed the door of educational institutions for Baloch youth to prevent them from acquiring education. At present, more than 250,000 Baloch children are out of schools in Iranian occupied Balochistan.
“The IRGC has also been given the task to keep Baloch youth economically deprived and deteriorate the economic conditions of Balochistan to force the Baloch to either go abroad or indulge in illicit fuel business in Balochistan.
“The Alqods unit of IRGC is involved in Interfering and conspiring against Baloch freedom struggle in Pakistan occupied Balochistan and attempting to pit Baloch people from both sides of the arbitrary border against each other. This plan is to weaken and sabotage the Baloch liberation struggle. In Iranian occupied Balochistan, the regime is promoting corruption, gun culture and has pitted different Baloch tribes against each other to prevent them from standing up against Iran.
“Finally, the IRGC has been promoting religious extremism in Balochistan by bringing foreign terrorists from Syria and Baghdad and settling them in Balochistan. The diehard supporter of Khamenei and terrorist group (Lashkar-e-Sabereen) has been moved from Kurdistan to Balochistan.”
He also urged the USA and rest of the world to take strong action against Pakistan army and declare its intelligence unit ISI as a terrorist organisation because they are also involved in crime against humanity in Balochistan and promoting religious extremism in the region including in Afghanistan, Balochistan, and India. “Pakistan and Iran should be blacklisted and given a stern warning to end the Balochocide (Baloch genocide) and their support for terrorism in the world.”
