Balochistan: Teenage boy and aged man freed, six others abducted
QUETTA: On Friday, Pakistan forces released Ali Haidar Baloch and the aged Baloch father from Hub Chowki, the Pakistani forces, however, abducted another six people from different areas of Balochistan.
Ali Haidar – the ‘wheelbarrow boy’ of Balochistan was abducted on 17 June from his home in Gwadar Balochistan.
The Baloch social media and political activists as well as journalists, rights activists and members of parliament had demanded his immediate release.
Haidar has been struggling for the release of his father Mohammad Ramzan and other enforced-disappeared Baloch since the age of 11.
His father was abducted by uniformed official of Pakistani security forces in July 2010.
Separately, Pakistani forces also released 70-year-old Shahsowar Baloch who was abducted from Balochistan industrial twon Hub Chowki on Thursday 20 June.
Shahsowar originally hails from district Kech Balochistan, Pakistan forces have already killed seven members of his family.
Meanwhile, Pakistani forces abducted another two Baloch in different offensives from district Kech Balochistan.
Pakistani forces raided a house in Malant area of Tump in Turbat Balochistan and abducted Aslam Baloch.
Sources reported that forces also harassed and intimidated women and children during the raid and looted valuables of the inhabitants.
In another incidents, Pakistani forces abducted Mujeeb son of Abdul Qadir Baloch from Bandgah area of Dasht.
Locals reported that Mujeeb is a shepherd who was regularly seen tending his herd of sheep in the region.
Also, on Thursday Pakistani forces have abducted Bhuri son Trati Bugti, Lehdi son of Trati, Lali son of Lohar and Mosam son of Malhar Bugti from Sui’s Patdedar and Lanju Seghari regions in district Dera Bugti Balochistan.
