 Balochistan: Pakistan army abducts a woman and her four children

QUETTA: Pakistani forces have abducted five people including a woman along with her three children from Kalat district Balochistan on Friday evening.

According to details, a Baloch family was on their way to visit a shrine ‘Shah Darbar’ in suburbs of district Kalat when Pakistani forces offloaded them from a passenger bus.

The victims have been named as Abdul Aziz son of Haji Raheem Bangulzai, 35-year-old Saleema Bangulzai and her children named 10 years old Farida, 5 years old Jannat and 1-year-old Zubair Ahmad.

Previously Pakistani forces have abducted disappeared Baloch women and children from different areas of Balochistan including Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Sibbi, Awaran and Mastung.

Enforced-disappearances continue unabated across Balochistan despite claims of Pakistani government representatives in Balochistan that previously missing Baloch are being released.

AdeelUsman On September 4, 2019, Pakistani forces abducted two Baloch youth from Balochistan’s Kech and Panjgur districts.

One of the youth was named as Adeel Baloch son of Murad Jan who was whisked away from a shop in presence of dozen of eye-witnesses in Sandani area of Panjgur.

Another person identity has been ascertained as Usman Maqbool Baloch.

Usman had recently returned home from Bahrain to visit his family. He has been living in Bahrain for work purpose.

Lately, Pakistani forces have intensified arresting Baloch youth who return from abroad especially in Gulf countries.

Earlier this year, the UAE government deported Rashid Baloch to Pakistan after detaining him in Dubai.

Meanwhile, Baloch political and human rights activists have announced to run a social media campaign on Sunday against enforced-disappearances of Baloch women and children by Pakistan forces in Balochistan.

The hashtag will be #SaveBalochChildren, the campaign will start at 3 pm Europe time and ends at 7 pm.
