Free Balochistan Movement protest against Iran in the USA, UK and Germany
LONDON: The Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) in a statement to media said that it has organised protests against the Islamic Regime of Iran in London, Washington DC and Berlin on Tuesday 17 September.
In the UK, FBM activists and supporters held a protest against the Islamic regime in front of the Iranian Embassy in the Knightsbridge area of London. They carried banners and placard against human rights violation in Balochistan by the regime. Protesters were holding banners imprinted with a map of Iranian occupied part of Balochistan. The banner read that Reza Shah Pahlavi forcibly occupied the western part of Baloch country in 1928.
In Germany, the protest was organised in front of the Iranian Embassy in the Dahlem area of Berlin. Baloch protesters waved the flag of Balochistan and held pictures of Baloch prisoners and victim murdered by the Iranian regime. They chanted slogans against the Iranian regime and demanded that Balochistan should be a free and united country.
In the USA, Iranian interests are represented by their diplomatic team from Pakistan Embassy that’s why Free Balochistan Movement’s activists protested in front of U.S. State Department to inform the Trump administration that Balochistan is not a legal and historical part of Iran.
Protesters chanted slogans for Balochistan’s freedom and condemned the Iranian regime. They also demanded that Trump administration should take action against the regime to stop human rights violations in Balochistan.
FBM further said in its official statement, ‘it has been our political stance that Iran should not acquire nuclear weapons and Hyrbyair Marri, leader of the Free Balochistan Movement, issued statements in the past where he said that ‘as Pakistan’s nuclear weapons pose a threat to world because of religious terrorists, similarly Iran’s nuclear assets will be a threat to world peace.’
‘Balochistan’s territory is being used by the Iranian regime to attack US drones and challenge the freedom of navigation in the region. The world must understand that Balochistan’s boundaries are not those of Iranian province of Sistan va Baluchestan. The western part of Balochistan is comprised of Sistan va Baluchestan and territories which are today part of Iranian provinces of Hormozgan, Kerman and South Khorasan’ the FBM said.
The FBM statement also shed light on the internal dynamics of Iran and said that ‘the only viable plan to counter the regime is multi-ethnic cooperation for freedom and national sovereignty. Ethnic groups and nationalities like Baloch, Kurds, Turks, Arabs and others are the Achilles’ heel of the Iranian regime and they hold the key to stop the regime’s terrorism.
