FBM to protest against Pakistan during UNGA meetings in New York
NEW YORK: The Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) has announced to organise a protest in New York City during the United Nations General Assembly meetings to expose Pakistani state barbarism against Baloch nation.
The protest will be held in front of the UN headquarters on Friday 27 September at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, Manhattan, between 3 pm to 5 pm American time.
The 74th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) opened on 17 September 2019 and is expected to last on 30 September. Leaders of many countries around the world will reach to New York to address high-level meetings.
The Free Balochistan Movement protested during last year’s UNGA sessions as well to draw the attention of world leaders toward the plight of the Baloch nation and highlighted the Baloch freedom struggle.
The Free Balochistan Movement has urged all Baloch residing in the USA, other human rights activists and well-wishers of Baloch struggle to join the protest on 27 September.
On the same day, FBM will also run an online campaign using hashtag #Speak4BalochAtUNGA to request world leaders, Human Rights organisations, international media outlets and human rights campaigners to raise voice against the ongoing Baloch genocide by the state of Pakistan.
