The fact of fake Pakistan

The richest Balochistan has another cursing fact, in 2017 and 2018, since the Balochistan Education Project was started, which conducted tests to hire teachers for the various schools of Balochistan. Candidates cleared the test and were appointed as JVT, JET and EST teachers of BPS 9 and 14 at various schools across Balochistan.

However, 1400 teachers, their salaries were functional for a few months, were later informed that they were being permanent as government teachers but their salaries were stopped for six months. Due to the discontinuation of their pay, many of them sold their pieces of jewellery and other belongings to fulfil their domestic needs, and later their salaries were paid, after six months of informing them that they were permanent.

Unfortunately, after a few months, the teachers once again started facing problem including salary issues which are still pending. It is even saddening that most of the educationists are female who are suffering from this financial crisis, they have complained several times on every forum but their concerns were not addressed and taken on board. They are extremely concerned and need the corridors of power to consider their just demands.

This behaviour of the government shows that how people of Balochistan, even the government employees are being tortured psychologically and deprived of their rights in every possible way. This act also shows that Pakistan government is only increasing the number of schools buildings in its efforts to show that in Balochistan is getting its rights at the same time they [government] can’t afford teachers. Hence, when the employees demand salaries the authorities start enquiries and suspend the ghost schools and teachers.

The teachers have been peacefully protesting against non-payment of their remittance for their service but the government seems unmoved. They are left with no other option but to comply like employees of other provinces who organised strikes for their basic rights.

The government of Pakistan only can announce vacancies but the fact is that this is considered a tactic to further complicate the situations of Balochistan. The teachers are being forces take to streets and compel to raise voice for their rights so that the forces of darkness can have an excuse to arrest and disappear them to rid the government of this problem permanently.

Moreover, the employees despite not getting paid are forced to regularly attend their duties because of the fear of being suspended or expelled altogether.

The recent government-sponsored instigation of violence at girls’ hostel, hostile attitude of DC Quetta against doctors and other acts of provocation and incitement by government forces are a pre-planned conspiracy to keep Balochistan in the dark in the field of education.

This is the justice of Pakistan to Balochistan and this is the fact of fake Pakistan.
