Baloch journalist goes missing from Sweden

BW News Web desk: A Baloch journalist went missing from Sweden’s Akalla region on 2nd March 2020. His colleagues and family members express their concerns as the Swedish police remain clueless about his whereabouts.

According to details, 36-year-old Sajid Hussain, a Baloch journalist, who has been living in exile in Sweden since 2017 has disappeared from his home on March 2, 2020.

According to the Swedish police ‘missing people’ database, he was last seen in Akalla region in Sweden and at the ‘time disappearance Sajid wore a grey jacket, black jeans and brown shoes,’ the police information read.

He is currently the Chief Editor of an online magazine ‘Balochistan Times’ and has previously contributed to various Pakistani newspapers.

The editorial board of Balochistan Times in a brief statement has urged the Swedish government to deal the matter of his disappearance ‘with utmost urgency’.
