Balochistan: Pakistani forces threaten to evict the entire village
QUETTA: In Tegran (Geshardan) area of Kech district in Balochistan, the Pakistani army has launched an offensive and severely tortured the people of the area and forcibly evacuated some residents.
According to details, the Pakistani forces offensives created fear and despair among the residents who have been living on their ancestral lands for decades. The residents fear that they don’t even get a roof over their head if they are forced to leave their homes.
The victims told Humgaam News, an Urdu news site, that they have requested Pakistani forces to let them spend the holy month of Ramadan so they could continue their fasting in peace and that they should be allowed to stay until Eid.
The Pakistani forces did not listen to their plea and gave them two days notice evacuate the area. “Pakistani forces warned that after the two days respite not only you will be forcibly evicted but the entire population and houses would be set on fire. So, we decide to evacuate the area out of fear,” the residents to Hugaam News.
The inhabitants of the area appealed the ‘Balochistan provincial government’ to help them as they do not have a place to go and live. They demanded from the government to either allow them to stay in their homes or make suitable arrangements for them.
