Balochistan: Two students abducted from Kech Balochistan

QUETTA: Pakistani forces have abducted two Baloch students from Turbat city of district Kech Balochistan and shifted them to an unknown location on Sunday.

According to details, around 2 pm Sunday 10 May 2020, the Pakistan Army arrested two students Nasir son of Pahlan and Jahanzeb son of Rafiq from Turbat Absar, the main city of Kech and transferred them to an unknown location.

Sources informed Balochwarna News that among the two students Nasir is a student of Bahauddin Zakaria University in Multan Punjab and Jahanzeb studies at Uthal University in Balochistan who were arrested by the Pakistani army and disappeared.

It should be noted that the issue of forced disappearance in Balochistan has become a dire situation. Every day, people from different walks of life are arrested and disappeared by Pakistani forces in Balochistan.

Baloch pro-freedom political parties and Human Rights groups charge Pakistan of disappearing thousands of ‘innocent’ Baloch youth, elderly, women and children since the beginning of the year 2000.

It is pertinent to mention that last week Pakistan-military backed death squads killed two Baloch student-cum-militants who had also studied in Quaid-e-Azam University in Punjab.

Their fellow classmates and teachers have described them as ‘brilliant students’.
