Balochistan: man shot dead at Chahbar harbour

DOZZAAP (Zahedan): Unknown assailants shot dead a Baloch citizen at Chahbar harbour on Tuesday, May 19.
According to details, around 3 o’clock in the afternoon, armed motorcyclists shot dead Zahid [Baloch] near the police station and fled away, without any fear or panic, from the crime scene.
The 41-year-old deceased was a resident of the border town of Pishan in district Sarbaz. The victim had just berthed his boat and was on his way to the nearby shop to get his phone charged so he could contact his family when he was attacked.
An eyewitness on condition of anonymity told Balochwarna News that the shop is located in front of a police station but the Iranian forces didn’t even come out of the station to try and save the victim let alone chasing the killers. “They showed up half an hour later.”
Sources close the victim also alleged that the killers could be clearly seen on CCTV camera that they passed the deceased and blocked his way and shot him at close range.
