Balochistan: Ex-governor dies as the total number of COVID19 cases reached 2968

QUETTA: According to the data released by the Balochistan Health Department, corona continues to spread locally in Balochistan.

The number of patients has risen to 2968. So far, 636 patients of Corona have recovered in Balochistan while 38 people have lost their lives. Most of the cases have been reported from Quetta.

On the other hand, former Governor and sitting JUI-F MPA, Syed Fazal Agha, has died while battling the deadly global coronavirus at a hospital in Karachi.

After the coronavirus was confirmed, he was shifted to a private hospital where he was being treated but could not recover from the disease and passed away today.

He was also the Deputy Chairman Senate from 1988 to 1991 and served as the Governor of Balochistan from 1997 to 1999.

A few days ago, Essa Khan Chalgari, the elder brother of veteran Baloch politician Dr Hayee Baloch also died of Coronavirus.  Hayee currently heads the National Democratic Party (NPD) in Balochistan.
