 Balochistan: Iran’s intelligence service abducts a Baloch youth

DOZZAAP: A Baloch student from Dashtyari region in Iranian occupied Balochistan has been arrested and Iran’s intelligence service on July 5, 2020, and transferred him to Zahedan jail.

According to details, 23-year-old Baloch student Masood Gorgej a resident of Gorgej Machan village left his house on late afternoon of July 5 and drove to the city of Dashtyari but he did not return home the following evening.

The family members have lodged a report of his disappearance at their local police station and the police informed Mr Gorgej’s family that he has been arrested by the intelligence service and transferred to Dozzaap (Zahedan) central prison.  

The police, however, failed to give an explanation of his arrest and imprisoning him in Zahedan.

Masood Gorgage is a student of the Chabahar University of Maritime who was arrested near Chabahar city without any court order or legal warrant and transferred to central jail in Dozzaap (Zahedan) – the capital of Iranian occupied Balochistan.

It is important to mention that Iranian (Sepah-e-Pasdaraan) IRGC and its intelligence service have lately arrested and imprisoned hundreds of Baloch youth without a legal warrant.

The arrested Baloch in Iranian occupied Balochistan are generally kept incommunicado for years before the kangaroo courts of Iran decides their fate in absence of legal representation.
