Balochistan: Baloch youth killed in Punjab and his dead body desecrated

QUETTA: A Baloch youth was abducted and killed in Gujranwala city of Punjab, Pakistan on 27 July 2020.

 According to details, Manzoor Baloch Issazai, a resident of Kharan Balochistan, was abducted in Gujranwala Pakistan, he was brutally tortured, killed and his desecrated dead body was dumped in the city.

Baloch social media activists reported that Manzoor Baloch had gone a market in Gujranwala to sell onions when was abducted by unknown people and disappeared. However, on Monday 27 July his tortured dead body was found.

The pictures of his tortured corpse with several burn and other wounds was posted on social media by Baloch activists.  

Sources reported that Manzoor Baloch was the sole breadwinner of his family because his father had died in his youth.

After the sad news of Manzoor Baloch’s abduction and assassination, there has been a lot of outrage on social media.

Campaigners are continuously demanding the arrest and punishment of his killers but they claim that the Punjab government and Police are trying to suppress the incident and not taking any action.  

It is must be recalled that Manzoor Baloch’s brutal murder is not the first case of violence against Baloch youth in Punjab as previously Baloch, Pashtun and Sindhi students have been attacked on several occasions by the student wing of a religious party.

The Punjab government has, previously, also ignored violent attacks against students from Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
