Balochistan: Iran’s Intelligence agents summoned and interrogated Hafiz Asghar Kouhi
DOZZAAP (Zahedan): Iran Ettela’at (Intelligence Department), on Monday, has summoned and interrogated Hafiz Asghar Kouhi, a teacher at the Anwar-ul-Harmain, religious school in Pashmag region in Rask town of Iranian Occupied Balochistan.
According to details, the intelligence department claimed that the reason for summoning the Baloch scholar was because of his failure speak at Friday prayers and other religious ceremonies.
Mr Kouhi is a resident of Peshamg village, Rask city.
Earlier, the school teacher, Hafiz Asghar Kouhi, was also arrested on 28 November 2019, along with one of his close relatives named Maulana Fazl-ur Rehman Kouhi, who had been summoned to a special clergy court of the Islamic Regime and detained.
However, after eight months of extrajudicial imprisonment in Mashhad and Zahedan prisons, he was released on 200 million Tomans bail on July 13, 2020, But Maulana Fazl-ur Rehman Kouhi is still detained at Mashhad prison where his fate remains uncertain.
Maulana Fazl-ur Rehman Kouhi is a strong supporter of Baloch rights and a sharp critic of the Islamic Republics in discriminatory policies against Baloch nation.
In recent weeks, pressure has increased on teachers and staff at the Anwar al-Harmain religious school in Peshamag.
Last week, unidentified individuals spill poison into the school’s water cooler, and the Islamic Regime’s officials have also stopped the construction work of the school.
