Balochistan: Four pro-freedom Baloch youth killed in a clash with Pakistani forces
QUETTA: At least four Baloch pro-freedom youth have been killed in a clash with Pakistani forces in Balochistan’s Awaran region on Friday.
According to the details, the Pakistan military has been carrying out barbarism in the Awaran area of Mashkay, Soler, Gichk, Jawan Tak and Gani Hotel for the last two days. During the barbarism, the ground and air forces of the Pakistani army shelled many civilians and burnt many houses to ashes.
Four Baloch youth of a pro-freedom resistance organisation were also killed in Raghe Kalan area of Mashkay during a clash with Pakistani forces.
Meanwhile, Gwahram Baloch, the spokesman of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), said that the Baloch sarmachars and the occupying Pakistani army clashed in Raghe Kalan on Friday, sparking a two-way clash.
“In the clash, four BLF fighters including Muslim son of Muhammad Hussain, Sikandar son of Muhammad Ibrahim, Liaquat son of Mullah Abdul Qadir and Saadullah were martyred while fighting bravely against the enemy army. We pay tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their precious lives in the struggle for the independence of Balochistan,” Gwahram Baloch said.
Gwahram Baloch said that Shaheed Muslim Baloch is the younger brother of martyred BLF fighter Suleiman Sheikh and nephew of BLF leader Dr Allah Nazar. Shaheed Sikandar Baloch and Shaheed Liaqat are also nephews of Dr Allah Nazar Baloch.
He said that Safar Khan, a Baloch brother of Dr. Allah Nazar and Shaheed Sheikh were martyred by the Pakistani army on June 30, 2015, along with another 15 people when the Pakistan army attacked their guesthouse.
He said that Pakistan’s policy has been to target the relatives of Baloch leaders and put pressure on them. Under this policy, the Pakistani military has targeted, martyred or kidnapped several relatives of pro-freedom Baloch leaders and activists.
He vowed that such atrocities of ‘enemy’ cannot break the Baloch nation’s determination for freedom and sovereignty of Balochistan.
Separately, the Pakistani army laid siege to the Gotri Bazaar area of Jiwani on Friday evening and conducted offensives.
The Pakistani forces trampled the sanctity of houses during their house-to-house offensives, they gathered the women and children in one place and searched the identity cards, and also tortured children and women. However, no arrests have been reported so far.
