QUETTA: One person was killed another wounded in a landmine blast in Madrak Mod area Kahan Balochistan on Tuesday, October, 20.

Azad Baloch, the spokesperson of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in a statement to media accepted the responsibility of the attack and said that the killed and his companion were part of a Pakistan army death squad that is active in the area against pro-freedom Baloch resistance organisations.

He said, “our Fighters laid a landmine at Madrak Mod in the Kahan’s Bambor area as a result Bashir’s son of Gulistan Marri was killed on the spot, and Nazir’s son of Dad Ali was severely injured.

“Their companions Syedullah son of Mozh Ali Marri, Haleem son of Safar Tangiani Marri, Zaman son of Safar, and Dr. Hebat Khan miraculously survived.”

Azad Baloch further said that all the above-named men were lured by the surrendered former commanders Nardi Murad, Ibrahim Marri and Lala Marri to go to Kahan Bambur to get information about the movements and hideouts of the Baloch freedom fighters under the nefarious plan of ISI.

However, he said, the BLA fighters ambushed them before they could execute their evils plans and killed one man while wounded another.

He said names of some of the Pakistan army death squads members people are being released on media while investigations are under way to find out about other ISI operatives in the area.

Mr. Baloch said that BLA claims responsibility for the attack and warns the surrendered commanders to their henchmen to refrain from anti-Baloch activities and stop cooperating with the Pakistan army. “Otherwise they should be prepared to face the consequences of their misdeeds,” he reiterated.
