Balochistan: FBM condemns indiscriminate killing of Baloch oil trader by Iranian forces

QUETTA: The Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) has said in a statement to the media condemned the Iranian aggression against the Baloch people and calls on international human rights organizations and the NATO and the United States take notice of Iranian-Pakistani state atrocities in occupied Balochistan.

The pro-freedom Baloch political party also urged the world community to support the Baloch people’s efforts so that these states can be brought to justice before the international courts. “Baloch living on both sides of the Goldsmith Line are forced to live below the poverty line despite abundant natural resources.”

The FBM said in a statement that the United States had imposed ‘appropriate economic sanctions on Iran because the Iranian state, which has been playing a key role in spreading unrest in the Middle East through its proxies, continues to sponsor them.

Also, Iran continues to enrich uranium to fulfil its expansionist ambitions disregarding US economic sanctions to build an atomic bomb to destroy world peace.

The FBM said that Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif didn’t hesitate to accuse the United States of economic terrorism against Iran, but on the other hand, the oppressed Baloch, who are involved in small-scale oil trade to support their families, the Iranian IRGC indiscriminately, killed them. The entire Mullah regime including FM Javad Zarif is silent on such inhuman acts and crimes of their forces.

“These Baloch were doing business in their homeland no power in the world, including the occupying Iran, has any justification to prevent the Baloch nation from moving freely on its soil,” the FBM said.

The Free Balochistan Movement added that the current situation in Balochistan proves that the real perpetrator of economic terrorism Iran which is attacking poor Baloch fuel traders through state power and killing dozens of Baloch in their homeland.

“Unemployed Baloch youth who are forced to engage in small-scale fuel business to support their families are also charged millions of Rupees in illegal taxes by the occupying state agencies of Pakistan and Iran every month,” the FBM statement read.

FBM also criticised world media for its silence on ‘Baloch genocide’ by Iran and Pakistan adding, “Pakistan and Iran pursue their common agenda of Baloch genocide which is not reported anywhere in the world media except on social media by Baloch activists.”

The Free Balochistan Movement further said there will be a social media campaign against the brutal killing of Baloch youth by the bloodthirsty Iranian army in Balochistan and the aggression and barbarism of the Baloch enemy state Iran and Pakistan all over the world.

The awareness campaign using hashtag #IranStopKillingBaloch will be launched on social media at 2 pm UK Standard Time on February 28.

The FBM urges all Baloch political and human rights activists to take part in social media storm to expose the Iranian state aggression and war crimes in Balochistan.
