Balochistan: Protests erupted in Iranian occupied Balochistan against killing fuel trader

DOZZAAP (Zahedan): Angry protesters took to streets in Saravan city of Iranian occupied Balochistan against the killing and injuring of more than 20 Baloch fuel traders by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) on Monday, February 22.

According to details, the IRGC (declared as a terrorist group by America) has opened indiscriminate fire at peaceful and unarmed Baloch fuel traders, at Shamsar region of Bamposht, who had gathered to demand the opening of the Goldsmid Line – that divides Iran occupied Balochistan from Pakistan occupied Balochistan.

The Iranian forces instead of meeting their demands have opened fire at them killing 10 people on spot and wounding more than 20 others, several wounded people reportedly later died in the hospital.

According to initial reports the identity of at least 10 fuel traders who lost their lives as result of IRGC firing has been confirmed as following:

1- Yahya Gangozi son of Ali Khan

2- Abdul Rahman Shahrsanzehi

3- Abdi Shahrsanzehi son of Bahar Shah

4- Salman Shahrsanzehi a resident of Mehrestan

5- Rahman Bakhsh Dehvari son of Bahar Shah resident of Soran

6- Abdul Wahab Damani resident of Tabdem

7- Anas Sahebzadeh a resident of Shamsar, Seyedabad

8- Abdul Ghafoor Tutazahi

9- Mohammad Mirblochezai

10- 17-year-ol Mohammad Nusratzehi son Bashir resident of Saravan

The identities of the 5 wounded people have been ascertained as following. There were shifted for treatment to Razi Hospital in Saravan.

1- Behzad Azadi son of Rasool Bakhsh from Mehrestan

2- Idris Baluchzehi son of Hassan from Bulbul village

3- Mohammad Mandazehi from Sarjan Jang Korin

4- Salman son of Jangihan of Perkan Soran

5- Abdul Sattar Dehvari son of Khair Mohammad from Kalpurgan village

Protests against the murder of fuel traders

A day after the killing of unarmed Baloch by IRGC people of Saravan stormed the office of governor and also set a police vehicle to fire.

The Baloch youth who favour freedom of Balochistan have urged people of other cities across Balochistan to rise against Iranian state brutalities.

A shutter down strike has been called on Wednesday 24 February.

Meanwhile, sources reported that more Iranian military vehicles have been seen going toward Balochistan from Tehran and it feared that with the escalation of peaceful protest, the Iranian regime will intensify its atrocities against Baloch people.

In a statement, the leader of Darul Uloom and Imam of Juma Ahl-e-Sunnat Balochistan Maulana Abdul Hameed condemned the killing of traders by Iranian forces and said ‘such measures were a total violation of the law.’

“The Baloch youth are forced to work as fuel carriers due to unemployment. This business is not a crime, nor does it fall into the category of smuggling. Thousands of families are doing this business to run their homes,” he said.

He urged the people to continue their peaceful and legal protests and expressed his sympathy and condolences to the affected families.
