Balochistan: Military offensives in Kharan and other regions
QUETTA: Pakistani forces have been carrying out offensives in different areas of Balochistan for the past several weeks.
Sources informed Balochwarna News that the military has been conducting offensive operations in the Kohistan Marri region in Bambor, district Jhao and Kharan in Balochistan.
On Wednesday afternoon the Pakistani forces laid an unwarranted siege around Sopak village, indiscriminately rampaged houses and harassed the residents
Also, in Jamia Shams-ul-Uloom, Syed Noor Ahmad Jan Mohalla of Kharan city, the Pakistani forces entered the houses of Syed Khalil Shah and Azmat Shah. They forces harassed women and children in the name of ‘search operation’.
Separately, the Pakistani forces also blocked Wadh Gwash road to Kharan city and continue to harass the residents who travel from Kharan city to surrounding regions.
A few days ago in Kharan city, the Pakistani forces raided houses in Mazarzai Mohalla and severely tortured the occupants.
There has been no report of arrests so far during these latest offensives.
On Thursday 18 March, the Pakistani forces conducted raids in the Jhao area of Balochistan and abducted more than a dozen people.
The forces also tortured occupants of the houses including women and children.
The abducted people have been named as Inzamam son of Rahim Bakhsh, Zareef son of Yaquob, Imam Bakhsh son of Qadir Bakhsh, Imtiaz son of Imam Bakhsh, Salaam son of Imam Bakhsh, Darwesh son of Abdullah, Rafique son of Darwesh, Zabad son of Mohammad Bakhsh along with his sons Zakir and Hakeem.
The Pakistani forces also reportedly summoned all the resident of the Kohado area to a nearby army camp.
Last, week Pakistan forces carried out offensives in a different area of the Kohistan Marri region including Bambor and surrounding areas.
Sources informed Balochwarna News that the Pakistan army had asked the local Levis forces to load the livestock of Baloch nomads to army trucks and sent them to Kohlu. The Levis forces, however, refuse to cooperate with the Army.
