FBM activists join protest of Arabs of Al-Ahwaz to support their stand off against Iran

GERMANY: Representatives and activists of Free Balochistan Movement joined a protest of Al-Ahwaz Democratic Popular Front (ADPF) in Hamburg city of Germany to express solidarity with the people of Al-Ahwaz against Iranian aggression.

According to Ahwazi Arab  media reports at least nine people  have been killed so far  and many injured during peaceful protests against water shortages in the Khuzestan region of occupied Al-Ahwaz.

Sources also reported that several Al-Ahwazi Arabs have been arrested and imprisoned by Iranian forces. Saturday evening was the 10th consecutive night of continuous protests by Arab activists.

The Al-Ahwaz Democratic Popular Front has called for an international solidarity campaign and protests against the ongoing Iranian state repression and discrimination against the Arabs in Al-Ahwaz region. The protests in Germany and the Netherlands were part of the international awakening.

Activists of Free Balochistan Movement and Kurdish community members also participated in Saturday’s protest.  The activists chanted slogans against the barbarism of Iranian forces in occupied Ahwaz.

Baloch and Kurds political activists called on international human rights organisations to take notice of the ongoing Iranian fascism and atrocities against occupied nations including Arabs, Baloch, Kurds and Turks of South Azerbaijan.

The protesters demanded that the liberation movements of Iranian-occupied Ahwaz, Balochistan and Kurdistan shouldvbe supported under the convention of UN charter.

Addressing the protest, the FBM representative said that the silence of international institutions against Iranian regime atrocities in occupied Balochistan, Al-Ahwaz and other minority-occupied areas raises questions about their international mandate.

He maintained that Balochistan is currently divided into three parts, which are occupied by religious extremist states like Pakistan and Iran. In order to crush the Baloch liberation movement, Pakistan and Iran have started genocide of Baloch people in occupied Balochistan.

He emphasised on the need of unity among nations under Iran’s oppression and added that occupied nations have common problems, common atrocities, common enemies and common goals, but one thing they do not have is a common and united struggle.

‘Circumstances now require us to move towards forming a common political front so that we can better compete with our enemies.

‘If we want to defeat the tyrannical state of Iran and free our land and nation from slavery, we need to move towards a political alliance. The people of the occupied territories of Kurdistan, Al-Ahwaz, Balochistan and South Azerbaijan have to come together to advance their struggle for independence and in wage a joint struggle their national salvation, he said.

It is worth mentioning that Arabs of Al-Ahwaz also held a massive protest at The Hague in the Netherlands while Turks in Tabrez, Baloch youth in Balochistan and people of Kurdistan have expressed their support to the peaceful resistance and ongoing agitation of Arabs of Al-Ahwaz.
