Balochistan: 4 Iranian troops including a colonel killed in Samur clash
DOZAP (Zahedan): At least 4 members of Iranian troops were killed and several others wounded in a clash with Baloch militants in Dasht -e-Samsur bordering area between Kerman and Iranian occupied Balochistan. Two Baloch militants also lost their lives.
According to the Baloch Activists Campaign, the identities of three killed Iranian officers have been ascertained as Colonel Mehdi Tousang, the commander of Abuzar Kerman operational base, Ehsan Shirkhani, Rezvani and the identities of four military personnel wounded in this conflict Mohsen Alaei, Mohammad Sadegh Moinnejad, Ali Zol-Ala and Ali Tanvardi.
The identities of the other killed and wounded military personnel were still unknown at the time of filing this report.
Two Baloch militants also lost their lives in the bloody clash with Iranian troops. The Baloch militants have been named Malik Shahbakhsh son of Mehrab and Shahbakhsh.
In an interview with the police news website, the Kerman police chief confirmed that three military personnel were killed and six others injured.
It should be noted that this conflict, which started on the evening of November 16 has lasted about 24 hours.
Baloch armed men whom the Kerman police commander called a “group of miscreants” are people who are against the policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Dasht-e-Samsur (Samsur plain) is located at a distance of 45 km from Bazman and is considered as one of the functions of Iranshahr in terms of country divisions.
The Normashir and Reagan areas are located in the north-western part of the Samsur plain.
It is pertinent to mention that Iran’s conspiracy to divide the Iranian Occupied Balochistan into further three administrative units has greatly angered the people of Balochistan.
All major Baloch tribes residing in the Western part of occupied Balochistan have issued strong statements of condemnation against the Islamic Republic of Iran’s plans to divide Balochistan.
