Protest Marks Six Years of Baloch Activist’s Enforced Disappearance
Balochistan: Kohlu-Barkhan road construction company machinery destroyed
QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in a statement to the media said that they have attacked a construction company’s installations on Kohlu-Barkhan road on Sunday Evening.
According to details, the attack was carried out in the Hanah Boya area which caused significant damage to the company’s machinery. ‘A vehicle of the company was destroyed in the attack,’ BLA in its statement said.
The spokesperson of the organisation, Azad Baloch, said that BLA accepts responsibility for the attack adding that, the ‘company’s non-local contractors have been warned before to refrain from working on Kohlu-Barkhan Road.
‘This attack was a final warning for violating the BLA’s instructions to stop the work.’
The BLA in its statement repeated its warning to all local and non-local contractors, saying that, ‘once again we strongly advised them to stay away from Kohlu-Barkhan Road and other similar projects, otherwise they will be responsible for any loss caused to them and their property.’
Azad Baloch reiterated in his statement that Kohlu-Barkhan Road was being constructed in the area to facilitate the enemy state to accelerate the loot and plunder of Balochistan’s national resources.
‘The organisation will carry out more intense attacks in future to thwart such plans of the enemy, the BLA warned.
