Balochistan: FC check post, MI and ISI office attacked in Kharan
QUETTA: Several rockets landed near the offices of Military intelligence (MI), Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) and other security agencies of Pakistan on Tuesday evening in Kharan Balochistan.
According to details, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has accepted responsibility for the attack in a statement to the media.
The BLA spokesperson, Azad Baloch, said that fighters from his organisation targeted the FC check posts situated on Secretariat Street in Kharan Balochistan.
The statement further elaborated that the office of the Military Intelligence (MI), Bachelor Lodge used by ISI and the Deputy Commissioner’s Office are also located in the same areas.
“As a result of the attack, the occupying FC and the intelligence agencies suffered casualties. Our organization, the Baloch Liberation Army, accepts responsibility for the attack,” Azad Baloch said.
The spokesperson said that the above-mentioned area in the centre of Kharan city is used as a ‘Red Zone’ in the district where intelligence agencies have been using various tactics to seize buildings to spread their terror against citizens in Kharan and other cities.
“They have installed security cameras in different places to track people and hired informers to harass and disappear innocent citizens. ” the BLA statement read.
The statement also urged Baloch people to stay away from the offices and bases of MI and ISI.
BLA spokesperson Azad Baloch further said that it was pertinent to highlight another underlying important issue that Pakistan military and intelligence agencies are taking advantage of Baloch people’s financial difficulties in Kharan and other areas under a new military policy.
“In the name of nursing, Baloch women are being sent for military training in Kharan, Khuzdar and Karachi. These women will later be sent to different areas of Balochistan to support the army with its offensives against Baloch people,” Azad Baloch said.
The BLA urged the Baloch nation to beware of this conspiracy of the enemy and to keep women away from this duplicitous offer of the Pakistan army.
The BLA spokesperson, Azad Baloch, vowed, “our attacks against occupying army and its allies would continue till the independence of occupied Balochistan.”
