Balochistan: Three Killed and One Injured in Grenade Explosion in Morthan
Brussels Conference: FBM urges non-Persian nations to unite for national sovereignty
BRUSSELS: The Executive Committee of Al-Ahwaz State held a conference in Brussels, the capital of Belgium on Friday 8 July 2022, nations under Iran’s occupation and people from Arab countries also took part in the conference.
At the invitation of the Al-Ahwaz State Executive Committee, Jamal Nasir Baloch, Head of the Foreign Affairs Department of Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) attended to represent his party.
In his address, Jamal Nasir Baloch highlighting the geography and history of Balochistan said that It is geographically located between Persia and India.
He said that Balochistan was divided into three parts by the British Empire, one part of which is now occupied by Iran which includes Sistan-va-Balochistan and those areas which were merged into Kerman, Hormozgan and Khorasan provinces of Iran.
Similarly, many areas of Pakistan-occupied Balochistan have been illegally made part of Sindh and Punjab by Pakistan under their British legacy of divide and rule policy. Besides, some Northern areas of Balochistan were also included in Afghanistan due to the demarcation of the Durand Line.
Mr Baloch said that for cooperation and coordination among the nations under the control of Iran, we need a comprehensive plan and framework under which we can convince the world that we can control our territories and bring stability in the region.
Jamal Nasir Baloch said that the Iranian Diaspora, the opposition parties including the monarchists and the Mujahedeen-e-Khalq need not to do anything to gain power in Iran as they are waiting for the Mullah Regime to change because for them seizing power is the only solution to their problems.
He asserted for the non-Persian nations the regime change will only be a change of faces in Tehran and nothing more. “Our national problems will not be solved by any such change,” he said, adding that hence we need a plan to achieve the goal of freedom because our problem is colonial geopolitics. The boundaries and lines that were drawn in the colonial era and divided nations cannot be solved without a comprehensive plan.
The FBM representative said, “We need to think about how to peacefully resolve inter-ethnic problems in Iran. How can non-Persian nations peacefully solve their border issues?
“How can we guarantee the rights of other non-Persian minorities living in the lands of non-Persian nations and find a peaceful solution to these problems so that the region can be saved from bloodshed?
“How can we establish our control over our land and at the same time bring stability to the region as a responsible power? Our success is possible only when we work together and cooperate to find solutions to all these problems,” he said.
