Balochistan: Pakistani forces and local death squads suffered casualties in Mand clash
QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in a statement to the media said that Pakistani forces and their local collaborators have been forced to retreat during an offensive against Baloch fighters in the Chukap area of Mand, Balochistan.
BLA’s spokesperson, Azad Baloch, said that the battle between ‘our fighters and occupying Pakistani forces along with their local death squad members continued for two hours.’ adding that many Pakistani forces personnel were killed and an informer named Akram was seriously wounded.
‘After the fierce resistance from Baloch fighters Pakistan forces were forced to retreat from the battlefield and take the wounded collaborator with them,’ Azad Baloch said.
He further added that BLA Sarmachars remained unhurt. The defeated Pakistani army, however, launched an offensive on the surrounding civilian populations with additional personnel.
Azad Baloch said, ‘our organization Baloch Liberation Army accepts the responsibility for the attack on the occupying forces on August 9, 2022, and the death squads and causing heavy losses to them.’
