Balochistan: Iran executes one Baloch, four shot dead and five female students arrested
Duzzap: Last night on October 2, the Iranian army fired rockets from a helicopter towards a private car in the north of Duzzap (Zahedan) city killing four Baloch civilians on the spot.
These four men from the same family have been identified as Murtaza Hasanzai, Zulfiqar Hasanzai, Arman Hasanzai and Mahmood Hasanzai.
It is noteworthy that after the massacre of people on Black Friday (September 30, 2022) in Duzzap, the military helicopters of the Iranian government have been continuously hovering over the city surrounding areas day and night.
In another incident, a Baloch prisoner in Vakilabad Jail of Mashhad was hanged on October 2, Sunday.
The victim named Awais Belrani was a resident of Iranian occupied Balochistan and is said to have been arrested on drug-related charges in 2018.
The execution of the prisoner was not announced by Iran’s state media until the filing of this news report.
Separately, the Iranian military forces arrested five Baloch female students residents of Sarbaz and Nikshahr in the Block Market of Chabahar city and transferred them to an unknown place.
According to the Baloch activists’ Campaign, on Wednesday, 28 September 2022, five Baloch female students aged 15 to 17 were arrested by military forces in Chabahar.
The identities of these five Baloch girls, “S Raisi”, “A Raisi”, “M Omarzahi” from Kishkaur district of Sarbaz city, “F Baloch” and “A Baloch” from Ahoran city of Nikshahr city, have been confirmed for the campaign.
It is said that these five Baloch girls, who were relatives and classmates, went to the Block Bazaar (Traditional Bazaar) for daily shopping and were arrested by military forces.
Sources reported that when the families of these girls went to the Chabahar Intelligence Department for follow-up, the military forces informed them that if they do not report to the media, their girls will be released on Saturday, 1st October.
However, these girls were not released on Saturday either, and when the families returned to the Intelligence Department, they were met with the news of their girls’ transfer to Zahedan.
The military and judicial forces have accused these girls of participating in the Chabahar protests.
It must be noted that there was no protest on Wednesday 28 September and the protests were held in Chabahar on Tuesday 27 September.
