(BERLIN PR): Free Balochistan Movement organized a protest demonstration in Bonn, Germany to mark International Human Rights Day. The protest was held in front of the headquarters of the famous German media organization Deutsche Welle.

The speakers highlighted the ongoing atrocities and human rights violations in Balochistan since the Pakistani and Iranian occupation of the sovereign Baloch nation.
The speakers said that Pakistan and Iran first started violating the human rights of the Baloch people by occupying their land and ending their freedom, which continues till today with the same intensity because after the Baloch lost their freedom, they started a struggle to regain their independence. The occupying states Iran and Pakistan are using violent means to suppress and crush the Baloch just struggle of Baloch people.
The speakers further said that the occupiers prove from their history that when nations stand against the occupation, such atrocities are not uncommon, but it is surprising that human rights and media organizations pretend to be unaware of all these states’ atrocities against Balochistan.
The speakers stressed that they are silent spectators of the situation and are deliberately not fulfilling their responsibilities by ignoring the plight of the Baloch nation. Due to the silence of international media and Human Right Organisations, a humanitarian crisis is emerging in Balochistan. because the human rights violations by the oppressive state are not less than the genocide.
It is not only necessary to stop the ongoing genocide but it is also one of the basic responsibilities of international human rights institutions they must act independently and stop discriminating against Balochistan.
The speakers further said that the United Nations has defined human rights in its charter and regarded human freedom as a basic priority but this priority has been abolished in Balochistan.
In free societies, freedom of expression, freedom of choice, freedom of employment and other basic rights are given the utmost importance and when people of deprived of these rights, there is always a strong reaction from human rights organisations and media. But, in Balochistan, human life, making them victims of enforced disappearance has no importance and place in media because the media is state-controlled and the international media also relies on the states’ narration instead of finding the other side of the story.
The speakers said that the international media and human rights organisations’ silence was encouraging occupiers in Balochistan to commit more atrocities.
