Balochistan: Pakistan FC convoy targeted in Gwadar, three personnel killed
QUETTA: Spokesman of the Baloch Liberation Army, Azad Baloch, in a statement to the media accepted responsibility for an attack on Pakistani forces in the Jiwani area of Gwadar, Balochistan on Wednesday.
He said, “our targeted a convoy of Pakistani FC on the main highway to Gwadar in the Panwan area of Jiwani with a remote control device.”
The BLA statement further added that An FC vehicle included in the convoy was hit, three of the five personnel on board were killed on the spot and two personnel were seriously injured.
“Our Sarmachars targeted the occupying forces when they were on their way to Gwadar from the FC headquarters at Jiwani Hor,” Azad Baloch said.
This is the third attack on Pakistani forces in the Jiwani area of the Balochistan port city Gwadar by the Baloch Liberation Army.
Sources reported that immediately after the attack, the Pakistani forces started an offensive in Panwan and nearby areas and abducted and disappeared some innocent citizens.
BLA in its statement reiterated that such attacks will continue till the independence of ‘occupied Balochistan’.
