Balochistan: Saindak project truck attacked in Kharan, BLA claims responsibility
QUETTA: The Spokesman of the Baloch Liberation Army, Azad Baloch, in a statement to the media said that BLA fighters on February 24, targeted trucks working for Saindak Projects.
He added, “our Sarmachars ambushed three trawlers of the Saindak project with bombs and other weapons near the police station on the Gwash CPEC road in Kharan area of Occupied Balochistan.
“As a result of the attack, two workers of the project from the Mianwali area of Punjab were killed and injured.”
According to BLA’s statement, Six years ago, Pakistan started work on linking the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor route in Kharan with the Taftan Highway, from where hundreds of trawlers take extraction machinery to Saindak every day.
“Our attacks projects that are engaged in loot and plunder and exploitation of Balochistan’s national resources will continue in the future,” he warned.
