Balochistan: Mahal Baloch remanded another ten days in custody
QUETTA: Pakistan Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) presented Mahal Baloch to the Sessions Court Balochistan on Friday and asked for more time for interrogation.
The court approved the remand of Mahal Baloch for another ten days and handed her over to the CTD.
Last month Mahal Baloch was abducted by the forces in a raid at his house from Quetta. Later, the forces revealed her arrest through CDT.
The CTD alleged that Mahal Baloch was “a suicide bomber and affiliated with the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) and was arrested near Satellite Town Ladies Park in Quetta.
The CTD also claimed that a four-kilogram explosive vest was also seized from the female suicide bomber in the operation of the forces.
Mahal Baloch’s family, however, continue to maintain that she is innocent and that she was arrested during a late-night raid on her house.
The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons and other Baloch pro-freedom activists also continue their protests for her release and withdrawal of fabricated cases against her.
