Balochistan: Pakistan Military Collaborator’s Hideout Attacked in Kharan
Free Balochistan Movement to conduct another series of international campaigns
LONDON: The Free Balochistan Movement has announced to organise a series of demonstrations and seminars between September 23 to September 30 which also coincides with the one-year completion of the Zahedan Massacre by Iranian forces.
The FBM in a statement to the media said that the events are aimed at bringing the plight of Baloch nation to spotlight and expose the atrocities of Iranian and Pakistan state in Balochistan.
It’s noteworthy that on September 30, 2022, Iranian authorities targeted peaceful Baloch protesters in Zahedan – the capital of Iranian Occupied Balochistan – killing more than a hundred innocent Baloch. The Baloch were protesting against the rape of a Baloch girl by the Chabahar police chief when the Iranian forces attacked them.
The Free Balochistan Movement in its statement said that the Baloch nation has been enduring genocide and mass executions by Iran and Pakistan since the occupation and subsequent division of Balochistan in 1928 and 1948, respectively. Since then Iran and Pakistan have collaborated against Baloch and have conducted several joint offensives to suppress the Baloch liberation struggle.
“The 1974 offensive in the Chamalang area of Pakistani-occupied Balochistan the Pakistan army killed, wounded and abducted thousands of Baloch. Iran’s support to Pakistan during that offensive exemplifies their collaboration against the Baloch people.
“Pakistan has been committing atrocities against Baloch people since 1948 and has committed several inhuman crimes including the Dera Bugti massacre in 2005 and the discovery of mass graves in Khuzdar in 2014.
“Concurrently, Iran has persistently been involved in the mass execution of Baloch people, committing numerous crimes including cold-blooded murders in mass shootings, executions and arbitrary arrests in Iranian-occupied Balochistan since 1928.”
According to the FBM, “Through these seminars and protests, the Party aims to highlight ongoing atrocities against Baloch people and to raise awareness on International Level about the challenges faced by the Baloch and the atrocities of Iran and Pakistan in Balochistan.”
FBM’s Scheduled Protests and Seminars are as follows:
- Hamburg, Germany: September 23
- The Hague, Netherlands: September 23
- Helsinki, Finland: September 24
- Webinar in the USA: September 24
- Seminar in the UK: September 30
The FBM said that on September 30, FBM activists will conduct an X (formerly Twitter) storm in their efforts to highlight the tragic Zahedan massacre by Iran’s IRGC and Intelligence forces on the same day last year.
The FBM activists will highlight the Baloch genocide including the execution of Nawab Babo Nauroz Khan’s sons and companions, the Chamalang massacre by Iran and Pakistan, the Dera Bugti massacre, the discovery of mass graves in Khuzdar Balochistan and the rampant ongoing atrocities including mass execution, enforced-disappearances and other crimes of Iran and Pakistan against Baloch people.
In the first phase of its International Campaigns, the FBM organised round-the-clock vigils outside Chinese Embassies in The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Germany, and protests in Finland, Canada and the United States of America.
The FBM round-the-clock vigils ended after 10 days in which the FBM activists tried to inform the world about China-Pakistan-Iran cooperation against the Baloch freedom struggle. The FBM urged China through its campaign that it must not become Iran and Pakistan’s crime partner in atrocities and war crimes in occupied Balochistan.
