Free Balochistan Movement to Protest on 11 November in Germany
BERLIN: Free Balochistan Movement has announced to organise a protest demonstration in Germany on 11 November to commemorate the occupation day of the western part of Balochistan by Iran.
According to the details, the demonstration will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the centre of Germany’s Hannover city.
The Free Balochistan Movement added in its statement that on November 11, occupying Iran imposed its sovereignty on the Baloch people by abolishing the government of Balochistan led by Mir Dost Muhammad Khan Barakzaei in the western part of Balochistan also referred to as Iranian Occupied Balochistan (IOB), and since then, the lives of Baloch has been made difficult.
The FBM in its statement stressed that it was our collective responsibility to present the Baloch case to the world keeping in mind our national interests and responsibilities. The world needs to be informed about the recent escalation of Iranian atrocities against Baloch in the last year in Iranian Occupied Balochistan.
The Free Balochistan Movement has appealed to Baloch activists and other human rights groups living in Germany to take part in our protest and bring Iran’s atrocities and crimes against humanity to the attention of the wider world.
It is pertinent to note that Iran has recently accelerated the arrest, disappearance, target killing and executions of Baloch activists and prisoners under different pretexts.
Human rights groups including Amnesty International have expressed grave concerns about Iranian forces’ brutalities in Balochistan and the growing numbers of executions of Baloch prisoners including teenage inmates.
