BLA attacks Pakistani forces amid military offensive in Bolan
QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army accepted responsibility for an attack on Pakistani force in Bolan killing at least three personnel and injuring five others on Thursday evening.
The Pakistani army, consisting of thousands of personnel, launched a wide-scale military offensive in different areas of Bolan, which continued for the second consecutive day on Friday.
Apart from a large number of military trucks and war equipment on the ground, the forces are also facilitated with air support.
Meanwhile, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) spokesperson, Azad Baloch, in a statement to the media said that Thursday evening (yesterday) its fighters attacked Pakistan forces at Zamuri in the Sajawal area of Bolan, as a result, three personnel of the occupying army were killed and five other wounded.
According to BLA statement, the rest of the personnel escaped from the mountain top leaving behind their dead and injured colleagues during the attack from BLA fighters.
“After 6 o’clock, the dead and injured personnel were evacuated from Zamuri with the help of military helicopters,” Azad Baloch said.
The BLA accepted responsibility for the attack and vowed to continue such attacks against Pakistani forces involved in offensives and aggression in Balochistan.
Separately, sources informed Baloch Warna News that the Pakistani army is planning large-scale military offensives in Kohlu’s Kahan and surrounding regions. Local sources reported the latest advancements of the ground and air forces of the Pakistani army.
